Art Submission Guidelines:
We want your school planner to look its absolute best and help you to avoid any delays in production caused by poor or unusable art. The following guidelines will help you get the best reproduction of your art and photographs.
Custom Covers: When providing custom cover art, please provide your artwork via email or on disk as a high resolution pdf or a tif file.
Personalized Covers: When ordering an imprintable cover, please provide a separate layout sheet with your desired wording. Artwork for stock designs must be black and white line art and may be provided online or as a laser printed hard copy.
DO SUBMIT
- Camera-ready cover artwork or handbook pages using school planner templates.
- Original artwork, drawings or photos – black & white or color.
- Uploaded files and scanned images must be a minimum resolution of 300 dpi. Please do not include images from web sites, which are usually 72 dpi and reproduce very poorly in print.
- Black & white laser prints for line art only (not acceptable for grayscale art or photographs).
WHAT EXACTLY IS LINE ART?
Line art refers to graphics (or) text composed of black against a white background. Line art cannot contain any shades of gray.

- Photocopies of photos or graphics.
- Pencil or crayon drawings.
- Artwork attached with paper clips, staples, or tape, which can damage art.
- Artwork that is out of proportion. Templates can be found at www.schoolplanners.com.
